Need some help here. 1995 c280 with 78000 miles. The engine cranks strong but will not turn over. After a few turns of the ignition inorder to purge the lines the car starts. Runs fine most of the time but dies out in motion sometimes. The fuel tank seems to build up preasure and almost shoots off when opening. Went to Auto Zone p0600 Multiplex error & p1335 crankshaft position sensor. Any help is appriciated.

Make sure you buy the right crankshaft position sensor part number. They changed a bit over the C280 models:

yea that happened to me, Crankshaft Positioning Sensor. You need to replace it right away. Eventually the car will start turning itself off randomly. Happened to me in the middle of the lanes.

Has anyone replaced this part on their own or do i need to take it to the dealer?
