Window problem

My front right side window wont roll down, it just stopped working today. any help is appreciated. thanks


oh and i didnt really want to take it to a shop just yet in case i can do it myself.

Mine comes and goes sometimes. If you push the button 1/2 way does it work? (that's assuming you have the two mode wondows, of 1/2 manual control, full click automatic up and down). Mine would.

no it doesnt even work half way. i was thinking it was just a fuse since it happened so sudden and hopefully its not the motor.

When you push the button, can you hear the motor running at all?

Could be a fuse, but 202's and 210's are knows for regulators breaking.

If you can hear the motor running, the regulator is shot. If not, check fuses. Could always be a motor, but it's not overly likely.

Well I don't hear the motor running............but does anyone know which fuse goes to this or how to tell if the fuse is burnt? thanks

my front passenger window doesnt work sometimes. i think it has something to do with the summer heat over here though since the same thing happened last summer, but once it cools down i get no problems. when it happens, i take off the door panel and disconnect the wire harness that is connected to a small box looking thing and reconnect it. after that it works. maybe give that a try..
