What radar detector is the best one for cheapest money

HEY guys i wanna buy a radar detector, i only know about COBRA but dont really know anything about them, I wanna pay maximum 300 dollars, which one do you recommend as the best one?
there are valentine, escort, and cobra are there any more brands of laserdetectors?

i wanna know about= quality, gadgets, functionality everything

also how to upgradeing cuz i live in europe

Never buy a cheap radar detector...

radars don't do much but tell you if a cop is around, but they don't tell you if one is sitting behind the bushes with a gun. Cause as soon as he hits that trigger your %^&* beyond belief. At least with lazer jammers your somewhat safe

As said previously, get some M20 blinders and a valentine 1, or a Beltronics STI

I prefer the V1 myself, but they are both very good.
