These were my old lights until someone hit me and broke one. They used to get foggy from the inside:

Now I just bought these and I don't want the same thing from happening:

Here's what the seller suggests:

So should I do what he says, or should I seal off those ventilation holes altogether? Will they get foggy if I just point down the rubber part?

Thats the trouble with aftermarket lights.

The reason they are fogging is that they arent completely sealed.

Your best bet will be to dismantel the lights and re-seal them with some kind of silicone sealant.

Ok. Thanks BBW. Since I installed them, i noticed only one side has fogged up. I will attempt using silicone sealant on that one and see how it goes.

I don't know much about these lights, but is it good idea to block those vent holes? They were designed there for reason. It might be also to dissipate heat from the lights. Last thing you want is heat to build up in there. Just my 2 cents.
