(its at the bottom of the water pump) does anybody know if there are such plugs, does the dealer have it? if no plug exists, can i just weld it shut??? it needs to closed. anybody have any ideas or suggestions on how it could be closed. the pic shows the little hole its leaking from.
plz help ppl

REPLACE IT!!!
that is there to tell you the water pump seals are shot and the bearings are going. If you go to long the pump will fail.

smack a smaller size socket or ring spanner on to the bolts which you have rounded.
you have to get it off and replace it

are they allens or hex heads? try to remove things so you get a straight shot at them. get a good allen socket and hammer it all the way in. same if its a hex head. when you turn it try two things. tap on the socket wrench with a hammer, the impact can really help. at the same time use one hand to make sure the socket stays sqaure on the bolt.

finally!! i got em off, almost broke the water pump off from frustration though. that got the bolts loose enough to twist with plyers

what type of tools have you been using? quality makes a big difference with tight bolts/nuts.
well done on getting it with a bit of bush mechanics tho :-)
