ASR off button doesnt come on

i have an asr off button but no asr light or the triangle come on.

when you turn your car on does the light work

yeah both the asr and the triangle come on when the keys in the 2nd position

are you sure your pressing the right part of the button i know if you press the top of the button its doesnt work

betcha the button came unplugged behind the upper control panel...it happens, that and when certain techs, especially a few i work with have a habit of forgetting plug stuff in when they have certain components taken off.

I noticed tonight the ASR off doesnt light up as bright as every other button. If it is unplugged how do i go about plugging it in?

Can't recall off the top of my head how to take the upper control panel off on the 202. I will look it up when i get to work tomorrow and get back to you.

i think the center console,ash tray,raido and climat controlls need to be removed but maby you can gat away with just removing the raido and climate controlls

If i remove the radio will i have to enter the code into it after because my car didnt come with any manuals so i dont have the code:(

yep just give the dealer your VIN and thay will give you the code

well today i took out the telephone screen, radio, and climate control and took off the wood trim and sure enough the plug was out. ASR turns off now so im pumped and i also didnt unplug anything so i didnt have to get the radio code:D
