Just For Future Reference The Parking Brake Bypass is A Waste Of Money. When You Press Your Parking Brake Down It Grounds The Wire That Would Normally Be Connected To The Unit For Its DVDs To Play. So All You Really Have To Do Is Find A Place ( Like Its Really That Hard) To Ground The Wire. I've Done It With An Alpine, Kenwood, And A Pioneer.

yea I'm very familiar with th bolting it to a ground method..and we actually had it wired like that at first but for some reason the clarion is smarter than others I've put in...so went to autozone and bought a 2 prong switch for like 2 bucks..and it works great..just flick it back and forth and its done..

thats similar to my setup except i didn't move my ac controls.

Seems although I am considering it now because when i have my flipout, out it blocks the controls.

Looks pretty nice.

It Looks Like He Doesn't Have An ASR On/Off Switch. So Does That Mean His 202 Doesn't Have ASR At All, Or That He Just Can't Toggle It On And Off?

Im sure he has ASR but doesnt have the switch to toggle it on/off.

It looks really really really odd, you can see it better in the last pic so Im not really down with that. I mean how can you prioritize the change box to be on top and the clima to be on the bottom even if I understand the reason you did that? Your car, your rules though.

i just did that simply because of convienence...if the screen is open i couldnt of changed any of my a/c controls...so i just switched it to the bottom ...and the cubby hole up top is there so that way it isant an eye sore when the screen is closed...

i noticed he doesn't have the anti jack feature on his dash ..that was a optional feature which also has the l.e.d. in it i think you could have done the double din unit in your car..that would have been more o.e.m looking. the install would have been simple, just cut the center piece make a trim and poof there you go . since you relocated the controls

yea a double din would have been cool, but this still turned out nice

Awesome job! I think DVD/NAV screens do look great in a Benz
since most of 'em have it now. Mine does block the climate control and the wife doesn't know how to work the radio so she's always
telling me to flip it down. Anyway nice job.

thanks, yea moving the ac controls was by far the best descision that i had made....they easily accessable and all the screen does is block the cubby...which is basicly only there for looks...now if you do decide to move the ac to the bottom all you have to do is dremmel out most of the back secton of the original lower cubby and then it just slides right in and stays very snug...and the wires for the ac are more than long enough to be relocated to the bottom ...
