Has anyone dynoed their C36, I cant find results anywhere!!

If so what power did you get at the wheels. I got 220whp @5500 RPM (rev limiter cut in early for some reason, power peak should be at 5750)

i think lensolo did it but im not sure if his is c43 or c36

roughly 245-255 range stock.

keep in mind this is new, over time engines can drop off as they age, realistically 240-250 are realistic numbers for C43, and 220-230 for C36 Assuming MB specs are accurate.

bingo, 20-21% drivetrain loss is avg for autos so if you do the math...


C43 = 241.6 wheel HP

C36 = 220.8 wheel HP.


so you should be somewhere around those numbers stock, if not then you either have a weak car or there are issues robbing power

A good goal is 325 crank HP (roughly 90HP/L)

If you do the math that exactly 260 wheel HP so I think thats a very realistic goal with the right mods. My AMS Power Pack (Headers & pulley) may not get you there alone but with a few other power mods like intake, redesigned exhaust & royal purple, you should be pretty darn close.

I plan on doing even more mods on top of that so we'll see.

there are alot of inefficiencies in the C36 exhaust system that alot of people don't know about. You can get power out of the C36 exhaust system IF you know what you are doing. most have failed previously b/c they did not approach it the right way.
