I've often wondered if you were to take the window switch from an updated w202 and swap it with a pre-updated w202, would this enable one touch up and down on all windows if all switches were replaced....

thanks in advance

Nope, doesnt work like that. the wireing is different aswell as the switch boards.

You would need to change the lot to get it to work.

yeah, ive looked at this as well before. the connectors have different pins front and back, as i wanted auto down rear windows.

One touch up windows have pressure sensors on them. They sense when there is something stuck in the track BEFORE the window is all the way up. If anything creates resistance on teh window, it will automatically go back down. This is so children, fingers, ect will not get pinched or choked.

Ya I tried this on mine with a soft object...when it bumped it, it stopped and the window went back down an inch. Pretty neat:)
