Here's the deal, one of my amg rims has hair line cracks so i'm thinking about putting on some new rims. Since my brother has a set of 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 sportmax 962 after he sold his car, I was thinking about using them on my w202 which is not lowered yet. Yes, i know the bolt pattern on those rims is 5x114.3 and MB is 5x112 and i'm thinking about buying a wheel adapter to get it to fit. Yet, I know nothing about offsets etc...
So my question is for you suspension guru's, would this setup fit on my w202 (18x8.5 in front and 18x9.5 rear with the wheel adapter which is 31mm thick or 1.25"?

If not what about the same wheels but with 18x8 in front and 18x9 in rear???

Any help would be appreciated, if it dont fit then i'll wont buy the adapter and will just sell those rims or something.

So you're saying i can use those rims just redrill the holes to fit 5x112?? And forget about using a wheel adapter right? If so then that's a possibility then.

the offset is 35.
so, going back to can i use these rims that have this 35 et offset with a 31mm wheel adapter on my w202????
other than redrilling which IS a good idea.
