Well, this is about tires, so I figured I would post it in here. I saw this on the MBworld forum for 202's. A guy referred to tire feathering. Can anyone tell me what this is, because if it is what I think it is, I need alighnment.

Thanks, Nokia, but it didn't quite answer my question. I just wanted to know what feathering looked like. Cause I've seen irregular tire wear many times before. What I have right now is pieces of rubber flaking sort of off the side of the top of the tires (not on the sidewall itself). I'm pretty sure that's feathering, but not positive. These tires aren't two months old and I think this maybe a sign of a problem like alignment. Just need varification.
