turning it off engages the fun.

Do you know what ASR is? Probably not, since you are asking.

ASR is the "traction control", when the rear wheels slip, it regulates the power to them so that you don't slip and slide. Turning it off means you can spin your tires, do donuts, basically break the rear end loose.

does it help you accelerate more?
when it is snowy on the road should one turn off the ASR?

There is information in the Operators Manual that suggests under some snowy conditions that it might be advantageous to turn ASR off.

basically hitting that button allows you to give the car gas while in a stand still mode say at a light and when the light turns green it takes off like a bitch but when the triangle is off when you give it gas at a stand still at a light when you hit it lags it cause the car is bascially taking control of the acceleration

Speaking of traction control, is there a way to make our cars go into dyno mode. My E350 has it and dear God its scary. It turns off ABS, ESP, and BAS. I now know why this car needs 265 rear tires.... I think it would be cool if our cars could do this.
