I was planning on getting new bulbs for my fog lights (98 C230) and the ones I want are the Nokya Arctic Whites to match my low beams, but they are 80 watts.

As I recall the OEM H1 fog bulbs are 55 or 50 watt..cant remember.... Sooo is this too big of a wattage gap to change to without making my wires longer?

Look harder to find some 55W...I wouldn't risk it.

the stage 2 nokya's are 80 watts. the stage 1 artic white's are 55 watts. they are hard to find but i managed to find a site about a year ago. seach nokya atric white stage 1 on yahoo and start clicking on each link until you find a website still selling them. they are still out there although they are rare. i love them. perfect balance between color and brightness.

or make your own harness with some 12 gauge wire and a relay and run whatever watt you want
