i have a supercharger for sale $450 plus shipping........it has 78k miles on it, you'll have to buy an intercooler, and all the piping etc

Not a good choice. The internals of the regular motor compared to the kompressed one are totally different. Not once this has succeded without any problems -worldwide- as far as I know. If selling/trading your car and getting a 202 kompressor is not an option, I suggest you buy either the whole engine (cant advise on that) or a turbo kit. Search the forum, you will find info on that, also search the web. I know that someone has even posted a list of every single part that differs between the two engines.

in case you decide yu want to supercharge your M111,

ive got the parts you need, I have-

supercharger
supercharger mount bracket
idler puller (bolt and cap too)
supercharger belt tensioner
belt tensioner pulley
pair of used belts (just for testing purpose)

you will still need a crank pulley, intercooler and the intake/pressure pipes!

make an offer on this stuff im moving and I need it gone. I have a picture I can upload later tonight.

SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH IM TRYING TO SELL MY SUPERCHARGER GOD DAMMIT LMAO, no dude seriously its not worth it, you'll spend more money then just selling you car and getting a kompressor. But yet again, why buy a c230k when you can get a c43

please don't be stupid about this. 230s are not fast cars and it takes rediculous $$$$$$ to make them fast. If you sell your car and get a C280 or C43 you will end up SAVING alot of $$ in the long run (along with time and money).

Dont answer omey. Anyways SHASTA I havent seen your 202 but in the end of the day, if you really like your car and you had taken really good care of it, you can always leave the tuning part out and enjoy it as it is. Maybe chip it, K&N it and upgrade the exhaust (header - muffler) and you will gain around 15 - 20hp. Search the site, you will find plenty of info. Search... if i recall a c230 kompressor has about 185 hp and a c280 has about 195 so there isnt much difference in my eyes. i bet the c230 kompressor can take that c280

I sold my 98 C230 and ended up getting a 00 C230k. Difference was about $3,000 but the 00 has lower miles and is much much cleaner. Get a newer C230K or C280, dont bother with a Komp upgrade, it will cost you more and it wont turn out how you want.

And KOMPRESSORs develop 193hp and kick C280s ass (no offence I luv 280s V6).

There was a higher milage C43 on mbworld the other day asking $7700.00. It needed a few things but regardless, the only way I could see building up a 202. I mean why start with the least discplacement and performance when it is becoming just as easy to start with the most discplacement and performance. You would then have the M113 as well which opens many more doors in terms of performance options.

I know that with the cars price included you would spend more than $7700.00 and still be shy of 302hp.

well all that is true but for that i keep my 202 buy a E55 motor and do the swap...upgrade to a klemann supercharger and call it quits....!! is good to dream!!

hahaha i can't even imagine how difficult it would be to swap everything

nah is been done before the only thing is re-enforcing the frame a bit

Cru328prod
11-07-2007, 09:21 AM
why would the frame need to be reenforced?

you still have to swap

engine
trans
ecu
wireharness
rear end

thats just pointless.......i've seen c43 amgs go on ebay for like 10k

i believe, always start with highest performing version of a specific model and go from there (if your goal is all out max power and crazy torque). now if you just want some minor power w/ some nice bolt ons, thats great too, but don't try to make an NA 230 into 500HP beast haha, its just not meant to be.

well normal c43 have the frame reinforced..more like the crossmember is bit stronger because of the slightly heavier engine...and all that stuff is not hard to do when u have the time and place

Cru328prod

haha very tru omey.......

diff engine mounts, it would be pain to go from 230 to 55

reinforcing the frame is the last step
