Radio CODE

Hi , I have a 99 c280 sport and my battery lost charge so i had to take it out and recharge it. Anyway now my Radio is asking for a 5 digit code, I looked in my manual and i couldnt find it. Does anyone know if the code is the same for all radio's or if theres a specific one i need? If there all the same can someone please give me the code?

Your dealer will have the code. Just call em up. They'll probably ask for your vin so you wanna have that handy.

I did that before and they help'd me out. Amazing what they keep on file about your car.

same thing happened to me... I called dealer.. they dont have it..they give me some guys number i call him.. he cant help me... So im stuck with a non usefull deck... i just ended up buying a Pionner Cd deck...still have the useless one in my garage:(

If you take it into the dealer, they can get the code from the deck.

My Dad's a Becker agent, and all he needs is the radio's serial number to retrieve the code from his program. Obviously, he also needs some sort of proof that the radio/vehicle is yours.
Most Becker/MB agents should be able to do this - Becker Agent List (http://www.beckerautosound.com/dealera.html)
