it ties the shock towers together, this car doesn't benefit from a "strut tower brace" because it doesn't functionally have strut towers.

looks cool i guess! :)

I think he cut some parts of the side wall.
And it's only for the look. ;) And not for performance. ;)

w202 has no mcpherson strut setups, thus you cannot tie the shocks together for stiffer unison its only for athetics(sp?) no performace will be gained.

not true, there is still alot of flex in the chassis regardless of suspension design. ALL cars can benefit front a top cross member because it helps overall chassis flex, and no you don't have to cut anything to install.

Yes I bought the very last one (i know b/c i asked him and he said he would not carry anymore). I am going to make an even better design and start mass producing them for the W202s. :D  (you lucky guys) lol

thx

Hey guys,

If I did a run of these it would be a run of 100 units and they would be selling for $99 + shipping , so far less than what is being charged right now. but I NEED to know if there is legitimate demand that is the one big issue. Also I need to figure out what makes the 94-95 bars different from the 96+ (appearantly there are some differences).

ok undersood, if you decide to do this put me down for a set for my 1999 c230 k sport. maybe if you are serious about getting this done is to make a different catagory for this and see how many people reply, you may also try in the other mercedes forums .

im waiting to see if there is demand... but there doesn't seem to be any. If i get enough of a waitinglist then I will put them into production but right now the demand seems to be nill, that could change in the future if people start posting more in this thread.

well not a single other person has added to this thread so realistically probably not.

I have one brand new one. If you want you can have that one I will sell it for only $120 shipped. Its for 95 & before model, dunno if that will work on your car. It should work on all 95 C36s and non AMG W202 up to 1/1996

ok understand, since mine is a 99 it might not work and dont know if i wanna make a 120 mistake.
