I was out of town to come back to a car that wouldn't start. My wife managed to figure that battery was in the back and jump it, but wouldn't start the next time. I get back in town and my daughter is talking about the cricket in the car. In the engine bay the car was going chirp, chirp, chirp every second or so. I'm guessing this is a capicator for the alarm continuing to operate? Funny stuff, disconnected the battery, still chirping. Recharged the battery, sound gone. The battery is original, what can I say on a '00 C280 Sport. Not a bad life for a battery. -Mark
