today, as i do my daily startup something weird happened. when the temp gauge reached 60, i revved it up to 4k rpm. as the needle was passing 3000 plus rpm, the engine felt like it was gonna die on me. revved it again the same way, same thing happened. its like when you reach the redline limiter (that's how it sounded)

not really shaking...you know the feeling when you reach the redline? that's exactly how it feels. its like its drowning on gas.

I think your car has a limiter at around 4K rpm if it's in park or neutral and not moving. Try revving it from a roll and see if the same thing happens.

Yup, if you are revving when in Park, you'll hit a limiter.

If you want to rev to redline, I think you'll have to put it in Neutral.
