fellow 202 members, I plan to lower my 202 on 19s with Eibach Pro Kits and was told by my mechanic that I should get camber kit to correct my camber as soon as i lower the chassis of my car.

So is it just the front and rear K-MAC camber kit or I need to get something else in addition to that

I want to save as much rubber as I can each year and so a negative camber is not one that I want to have shorten the lifespan of my rubbers.

Need all your expertise on w202 suspensions . Thanks.

You should get the REAR and the front will also help.
That's all you need. ;)

I still make plenty of Speedybenz camber arms forthe rear of the car. The price is $260 Shipped to Anywhere in the USA.

See: wwwspeedybnz.com

for a better look at what you would purchase. I have sold several hundred pairs to all sorts of Mercedes owners. They are very high quality.

I think the best way to get in touch with Speedybenz is thru his
email.

Q1 I have shipped several sets overseas it takes a little longer, and the cost would increase to cover the cost to ship overseas.

My experience is that the dealers will install the links. Most of the tech's are fasinated by the camber arms and the fact their is nice stuff to fix a real problem and not just somethng to make the car prettier, no offence to anyone I hope.

If you get any crap from the service writter then ask to speak with the shop foremen who will ultimitely decide if the camber arms get installed. Some times they can be easier to work with.

why are yours better than the competition?

specifically the k-mac

There are several reasons I believe my camber arms are better than the K-mac Kits.

1. I believe my price is less or very similar.

2. The installation cost to install my Camber Arms is maybe 0.5 hours for a mechanic with a rack, or if you are even reasonalbly handy with tools you can do the install yourself and save more money. The cost to install the k-Mac kit is at least as high as the price for the K-Mac kit itself.

3. My camber arms are very easy to adjust and can be done by the alignment technicain in 5 mins. I dont know how long it takes to adjust the Kmac kit, but do know that it would involve altering the position of the rear lower control arm bushing, which in a worst case could require removing the lower control arm to get good access to the bushing and then provide enough force to make the adjustment?

4. When the Sphereical bearing wears out over time on my camber arms you can just replace the bearing. And the bearings are availible from several sources, other than having to buy from me.

5. I know that when my camber arms are installed there is no increase in ride harshness and while I never been in a car with a K-Mac kit I have heard several times that the ride harshness increases quite a bit.

6. I have only had one situation where I could not supply my camber arms to a person, and he was refunded his money. Every other kit that has been ordered has been delievered.

7. I am a Mercedes Enthusiast and take real pride in the product I sell. I was basicaaly the first and only guy who made this kind of part for other MB owners at a reasonalbe cost. I made phenolitic spacers years before other companies started to sell them, same with Magnecor Spark Plug Wires, Delrin front swaybar bushings, adjustable rear swaybar links, instead of the stock plastic stuff, one of the first people to show that a Mercedes with a little bit of work could out run a BMW M3 or Ford Cobra Mustang around the racetrack, ie; Sears Pt. Thunderhill, etc.

Anyhow I am out of time, must get back to work.

I have found the k mac kit for less than $200 new- I understand you've sold thousands at the price you sell yours for. I'm going to look into the installatin procedure for the k mac a bit more prior to ordering anything.

thanks

Hi Jeff,

Could you direct me to a site where I could view the components to the camber kit and read more literature on the kit?
