honestly, i just wanted to test the stuff out and it seemed like a reasonable "test" piece. Plan on doing a lot of interior work in my mercedes with it next and maybe some stuff in the wrx.

it's a little cover for my boost control system in my wrx

what i did- was i made it carbon fiber (ish)

Is it the farbon sticker thing (like, checkered)? Or is it the 3D effect farbon or sth? If its the sticker you might want to reconsider...

it's an overlay "sticker" but it's real woven carbon fiber (just very thin)

It doesn't look anything like the widely available vinyls- as you can see above.

I tried to use the light reflection to capture the depth a bit (it was a cell phone pic though and it isn't incredible)

it was a vendor sample- it should be widely available soon.

one thing i'm really hoping to be able to do is to make door sill pieces as well...
