Quick Question

I think the MAF needs to be changed on my car, are they easy to fit? I can hear a ticking sound from the engine when I take my foot off the accelerator, is this noise coming from the MAS?

A bad MAF sensor will cause shaking and bad hesitation but I dont believe it will make a noise. Changing it out is easy but try cleaning it first. Purchase some electronics cleaner, spray it, let it dry and see if that takes care of the problem. Be

There are two noises coming from the engine, theres a squeek from the fan belt area and there is a winding down + light ticking noise when I take my foot off the gas. Not exactly sure what it is.

I get a little bit of shaking and hesitation when im going 5-10mph and touch the gas softly... Bad MAF?

get CRC mass air sensor cleaner. take it out. spray plenty of it on the air sensor chip itself and then let it dry for 15 min, put back in car. It should help the car run much smoother.
