My car seems to be fully warmed up after around 3-5 minutes of driving (C230 NA), where as my mom's W203 C230 Kompressor warms up fully after around 10 minutes of driving. Why does my car seem to warm up quicker than others? I can name other examples, but you get the point.

How are you defining warmed up? The engine goes back to normal idle? Transmission doesn't hold shifts anymore? Temp reading on the water guage? If it is the latter, then maybe you have thermostats that are rated differently (e.g. your mom's opens up much faster)?

Sorry...normal operating temperature (a little more than 80 Celsius).

When the t'stat stays closed during its warm up (as it should), there is much less coolant circulating so the engine can reach running temperature much quicker.

If your Mom's thermostat doesn't close when cold (typical of defective t'stats), then it will take much longer to get to operating temp as ALL of the coolant fluid is circulating and will take the engine longer to heat it all up.

My C23K takes about 6-8mins to fully warmup, which is 80 degrees celcius.

5 mins of HARD driving (which should not be done)

8 mins of driving

12-15 mins of idling
