first of all what color is your car and what color is your interior?, becasue based on that lets us know what color rims to suggest, and how dark your tint should be..the lighter the interior the darker the windows need to be...and badges?..What badges is what i say..strip all that shit off..even the hood star...and as for taillights in MY OPINION..i think the oem smoked are perfect, you dont need any of this ricer clear BS with led's..its a mercedes not a honda...and as for headlights that a matter of personal taste, but for sure clear corners, s600, tint, and 17"s a minimum size for rims, i have auth. Amg;s and love them..like knowing im on real german rims and none of this crap out of china..and get a system too, our cars are not fast by any means so ignore anything you hear about engine mods..

the first mods I would do are the cheap ones.. ebay chrome grille, lowering springs, bilstein shocks, and rims and maybe u can throw a tint in there since its also cheap... i guess... if u have some kind of social phobia and dont want anyone to see u jk!
those mods alone make most members happy with their cars. or if you are a baller with a c class u can do it all at once

first, debadge your car then put on your new grill, spring, then rims. this is how i would do it (from the cheapest to the more expensive ones)

well I think tint first..I cant stand non tinted windows..then I would get rims..then worry about all the other crap later..because if u do all the other first..its going to look like shit with the stock 15s..

Yeah i just debadged it... it looks way clean... Im actualy surprised,
the former owner actually gave me a set of the AMG mono blocks so ill get them wrapped probably in pirelli
the car is White with tan interior, ill get some pictures in the members area soon.
thanks for the recommendations.
I took the hood star off a long time ago.
but id love to put the AMG hood plug in, even though its not a amg its still a nice emblem

an amg hood badge would be nice but dont put AMG letters on the rear deck, because it would be miss leading...and as for tires..i wouldnt suggest pirelli, i had a set of pzero rosso straight from mercedes and they sucked, i then had fusions which sucked harder, now i have kumho's and there very good, treadwear of 420 and still sticky..and look nice...and white is a great color to work with with rim color, because you can get away with any color, black, gloss black, silver, gun metal...etc..and since beige is a light color you want to get the windows dark, id suggest anything lower than 30%..i have 15% on gray leather, and my friend has 5% on the gray/black 2 tone, and both are very dark...

Hey, tint is really personal. I agree with light interior the darker tint looks nice. Consider 20% charcoal by Llumar. It won't be a bitch to drive at night and will look hot. Remember to get the felt
put on your moldings or the tint will scratch. If you e-mail me I'll sell you a kit for cheap. (scott_blackout@yahoo.com).
My other comment would be to lower with springs and replace shocks at the same time prior to getting new rims unless you can swing it all at once. Look at shox.com for great prices.
Lastly, welcome to the club.

i agree that the tint is personal, and i like the suggestion of the 20% but i have known alot of people that have has the felt strips and there film still got scratched..in my car and my friends 230 we both took the plastic crap out completely, so that way i dont even have to think about them getting scratched, it was about a 10min job and well worth it..i dont like the felt idea because you still run the risk of sand and dirt getting trapped in there..

Well that's one way to do it, however if you remove the moldings completely you will have more road noise. That area is meant to be sealed off.

our cars are not fast by any means so ignore anything you hear about engine mods.. [/B][/QUOTE] Ignore engine mods?!?! I consider my car pretty quick... I can take cars with 35-50 more HP than me. I have an I4 S/C with full exhuast and shed some pounds and iv'e beaten an Audi A4, Acura TL, Nissan Altima 3.5, Nissan Altima Coupe 3.5, Nissan Sentra SER, Mazda 6, Mazda Speed, and recently beat my freinds F-150 5.4 Triton (from a 10-20mph role. Anything else, and that monster V8 eats me whole). Don't ignore engine mods. You can have alot of fun modding the engine. Just dont expect to be the fastest one out there. (unless you have a C43 or something)
his is a non sc 4 cylinder so engine mods are pretty pointless. whatever you dont put amg or brabus badges on your car
