get 225/35 tyre. if u want flush get at least 2mm spacer on rear. The front should be fine without spacer.

i hope you mean 20mm because 2mm wont do anything.

will the rears rub with the 20mm spacer and tyre specs?

also i take it 225/35 for the front. assuming 35 profile for the back what is the WIDEST tyre i can get one the back without looking silly?

i'm running 235/40/18 all around on 18x8 et35 wheels all around, my fronts are almost perfectly flush w/no spacer, i'm running 10mm spacer in the rear and it sits pretty flush, could probably use another 5mm to be completely flush, but it would rub like crazy w/the 235's (it already rubs a tiny bit w/the 10mm spacers)

Get 225 x 40 x 18 in the front and 255 x 35 x 18 in the rear.

how come you have said 40profile at the front or make major difference in the rolling circumference? wouldnt that rub?

Currently I'm using 225x40 x18 in the front and 255x35x18 in the rear. There's no rubbing or rolling of the fenders. ;)

what is the drop on your car mate?

wouldnt 40 profile front and 40 profile rear be more suited? no circumference issues?

do not get 255 in the rear. too wide, since ur wheels is not stagerred.
get the same size 225 all around. With the same size u can rotate them if there is a worn out. (Front to rear or either way)

No, as to compensate for the wider 255 rears the profile %age needs to be lower. Factory C36/43 sizes are 225/45/R17 and 245/40/R17, the 225/40/R18 and 255/35/R18 is almost exactly the same diameter, .1" bigger at front, .3" at rear
