Can someone please explain to me in detail on how to remove the sunroof panel so I can get it reapulstered?? I searched and there are a few posts on this but they didnt help. I really need to do something about this, it looks really bad and it keeps getting worse each day... Thanks!

markland556 told me:
sunroof shade comes out as follows:
-pop up sunroof, with shade closed
-push rubber accordion flaps in from the top of the car.
-slide roof back.
-pull shade up and out

I tried it and it didnt do anything so i too would really like to know how to get it out so i can hurry up and wrap it in black leather with a gray stripe in the middle to match the shift knob and the armrest which is getting the same

1 Slide inside panel/cover toward rear.
2 Move tilting/sliding roof to tilted (up in the back) position.
3 You have to unhook rail from rubber bellows on slider and lay rail down on slider.
4 Open tilting/sliding roof.
5 Now pull sliding cover forward until it gets toward the front of the opening and then begin to lift up front edge so that it clears/pulls up and out of the sunroof area.

Im sorry but I still cant exactly understand what ur saying. I just cant put the words into pictures. I think I see some hooks but I cant really tell cause of the weird position its in. It looks so complex that I dont want to uhook anything unless im sure its what it is. The last thing I need is to have to pay some rediculous amount of money to get my sunroff fixed. If somene can please provide us with some detailed pictures of what to unhook Im sure alot of people in the same boat would appreciate it. I know I would. Thanks.

Then you guys ought to post your contact emails so some reading this with pictures or whatever knows how to contact you. People don't post things here due to the fact this site does not host files plus some stuff is copyrighted. You need to make it easy for people to help you if you want help ;)

i just covered the fuse box cover in faux carbon fiber to match the c36 pillars and made a custom one for the upper right also carbon fibered. i guess i should put faux since carbon fiber would have cost double as much
