I had never installed these before and it only took me about an hour. IMHO, the hardest part is finding a positive feed to power them up when you switch the ignition on.
What I did in the end, was put the + into the accessory wire on my stereo and put the - into the earth ring behind the clocks.
(5 left)

wouldnt that mean that they would turn on each time your stereo is on??? i would want them to turn on when i turn my lights on...please advise.... and jre u think not to hard??? thanks!!!

Hey Grav- How much do you want for the chrome rings?

grav888

The chrome rings are £35 (not sure in dollars) for the set of 3. I got 2 sets left.

Re: guages,
I had mine wired up to the side lights at first, but then decided they looked better on all the time when driving. That's just my choice though.
You can experiment with them and wire them up how it suits you.

lifespan if on all the time?

When I say on all the time, obviously this is only with the key in the accessory or ignition positions.
With regard to the lifespan, I have had mine in for about 6 months and have had no problems.
It would be just as easy to take the + feed from the light switch you use to turn the lights on. All you need is a test meter.
