I am having some problems with a repair shop. I have a 98 C43 that was in a front accident. When they fixed the car they replace supposedly 1 headlight. Now the car doesn't autolevel the Xenon headlights. A few questions:
1. did the 98s have the xenon option?
2. did all xenons have autolevel?
3. do the autolevel lights still have the manual adjustments?

The shop said they ordered the parts of the VIN.. supposedly...

That's one thing I hated. When you got into an accident all the repaired parts are not the same anymore.. :(

i dont know if anything happened to the back of your car but the sensor that controls the auto-level in your headlights is located on you right rear A arm (i think thats what its called). it looks like a little box with an arm coming out of it. maybe check that...?

Nothing happened to the rear. Where is the A arm? I know the a pillar is the windshield arms.

the A arm is part of the suspension.

The WIS shows a sensor at both the right rear AND the right front, so I'd imagine that the front sensor and/or its cabling is damaged. I think this is the wiring parts list (http://www.detali.ru/cat/oem_mb2.asp?TP=1&F=202033&M=113%2E944&GA=722%2E631&CT=F&cat=44V&SID=82&SGR=215&SGN=10) for them.
