Hi all members in club202....

I need help / input from you guys.....

Iam new here...
I have a c230K 1999.
it has a problem a month ago which loss power while driving. and it was diagnosed to be bad pedal sensor.
it was ok then.

NOW. just last week. while i was driving, for one second my car feel loss power and went normal again.
the next day, the car lose power and i have to pull the car to the roadside. i press the pedal nothing happen and the car was in idle.
i turn it off for few minutes, and start the car again, it works fine. after drove approx 100m, it happen again.
then i try to turn off the A/C, and i could drive my car home, but my car can just drive slowly - i guess it is what it called limp mode.

and Now, i can start the car fine (but the starter need abit long then usual). And it just goes idle. i does not respond to the pedal at all.

PLEASE ANYONE help me....?????
ANY ADVISE / HELP here..... thanks in advance....

Have you had the throttle actuator checked?

you might want to get the peddle sensor checked out again, pop the hood and see how much slack is on the fly by wire crap...i say get some carb cleaner, and spray the dam actuator down...take it off, but don't remove the wire......and spray while pushing the fly by wire thing open and close.....and do a fuel system treatment

Where exactly would you spray the fly by wire thing? Its it the thing you grab when the hood is open to rev the engine? It has the silver throttle cable running around it.
