front end noise

I have this problem while turning i sometimes get a clunk, a weird grinding type of noise and it feels like the wheel is sliding (front left). From what I've read in previous posts it could be the lower balljoint, i have just replaced this a year ago along with entire draglink could it be worn already?? I know i am in desperate need of alignment also, could that be part of the sliding sensation?

wow i got exact same problem.. i am also in need of serious alignment... and i had a mech take a look and he thinks i may have a cracked spring

i have the same exact problem....i also had to of my benz techs at dif times take a look and they said they dont see anything wrong. just i have almost new front end, as in i did alot of work to it, also i figured this prob would go away after i fix everything, but no.

so anybody have an update cause
im about to buy new ball joints , center link, and bushings.
mine also makes a noise when im backing up and hit the brakes.
it sounds like a loud clunk
