Hello

Can u give me your honouest opinion about these brake disks, would you prefere the on the left, or the one on the right??

My car is black, and the rims are chrome, so the people selling these recommended the black one....

i think the black fades after a while, and are usually hella expensive anyway

From what I hear, drilled rotors crack. Slotted is the way to go.

actually those aren't crossed drilled, they are only dimpled. cross drill usually goes all the way threw. i would go with the silver since black usually will draw heat in from the sun. i mean in black usually will absorb heat in my eyes

i bought a fulls set of drilled/slotted rotors from R1 concept with good ridge stainless hoses and it was by far an affordable yet great upgrade.

ive heard of drilled rotors cracking, but assuming that the car is located in hong kong where it never ever touches salt in the winters should be in a better position than other winter countries.

i still have to upgrade pads, but at this moment.. it hardly heats up and eliminates all the "mushy" feeling of hard braking.

have fun !

I recieved my brake disks today....and in a couple of days I am going to buy new calipers. The old ones are not looking good at all, so I thought about investing in new ones. I was thinking about getting them painted, which colour should I go for ???

As you can see under, the calipers aren't in good shape. I have seen one really good 202 here in the forum, it had red painted calipers, looked really nice.....

This is the car that I was talking about.....a real nice car, a beauty.....

Usual brands like Brabus, AMG W210, Stoptech (Black 202), Ate, etc etc. I would ask on how much do the pads cost, because usually they are very expensive as far as I know.
I have another question about rotors though... What about the Ate powerslots? They fit the stock caliper and they are cryo-treated. I've heard good stuff about it and its also not cross-drilled, only slotted. Im interested in putting a set on mine and I would like your 2 cents.

Nice buy btw. What does the black color mean?

Your best deal is to buy OEM C32 brakes.

I have put Powerslots on everything I can (E420, C280, BMW 328i, Audi A6.)! Only vehicle I have put the cryo treated ones on is a Ford 350 we use for pulling. For my 202 I didn't think I would be getting aggressive enough to warp them anyway. :)

I buy from either tirerack.com or thebenzbin.com Not sure if either ships out of the country.
