Dome light half working

Just bought a 94 C220 Dome/Map light from ebay and installed it on my 95 c220. First thing I noticed is that it does not dim like my old one does. Second is the door function only works for the front doors. When I open the 2 back doors, the light does not illuminate. Would anyone know if that is due to the year difference or maybe just a broken fuse?

Yup. I got it on ebay...The seller I believe was Nationwide Auto recycling. Anyway, I guess at least it works when my front door is open. My guess is that the switch on the door may be malfunctioning or a loose connection.

The non dimming effect does not bother me so much and I read in one of the forums that the 94 version really does not have this feature.
