So I was about to replace the intake pipe that comes out of the back of the supercharger, until the final bolt was obstructed by the motor mount. Anybody ever remove this pipe before and know of a way to get at this bolt without having to float the engine and remove the mount? My theory is that the supercharger itself can swing on its own bracket and get out of the way, but I haven't had it that far apart before.

unbolt the charger off the braket.

Would it be a good opportunity to be servicing the clutch? I don't have the car nearby, so I can't remember if there will be much room to work on it even after being unbolted from the bracket.

paul instructed the supercharger did have to be removed to install the intake pipe. if you're gonna do the pulley kit down the road, i would definately replace the clutch.

slammed_c had his go out after installing the kleeman kit, and when it let loose, it took the entire nose off of the SC. other than that, if you were to change it now, the supercharger system, would be mechanically solid for at least another 150,000 miles. peace of mind, eh? :)

yea id install a new clutch just so you dont get stranded somewhere, or even have more damaged parts if it flies loose under the hood.
