Hello
I am fitting somewheels and its been quite a head ache. Since I have C32 calipers the Dronell wheels i bought dont fit worth a damn, first it was a 10mm spacer and it still hit now its a 15mm spacer. brings my total offset to 26 and it still fits kinda but thats another story. ANyways There is like 1 maybe 2 mm in between the spoke and the caliper is this safe? On my c36 I had carlssons wheels where the spoke it pretty much a paper sheet between the caliper and the spoke, never had a problem, this seems to be just as close
any thoughts?
If this dosent work im going to sell em and try something else, oh bother!

This is why I didn't buy them :D
As far as the 2mm clearance, it's not a problem.

so you are having a issue because the c32 calipers....what car did they come off? ocklass weren't those the ones you almost bought? and do you have the same calipers as jnolte? if you was to sell them will they fit a 1999 c230 with oem calipers w/o any spacers? and how much?

A C32.
edit: nolte, you need a 20mm spacer. yeah lowrider. ;)
edit#2: my monos seem to be very close to the caliper as well. I'd say 2-3mm.

well its more like a 1mm gap, it feels damn scary to be thinking it could hit, but if yall say its fine then that is more assuring. Logic if you want them maybe you can have them im going to do one last fitment and see how i feel, I think they should fit fine on a c230 but am unsure. they are 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear offset 41 and they are 3pc wheels, very light

For any other 202 besides jnolte's, they'll bolt right up. You will have to run at least 10mm spacers up front however if you want centercaps...

If its more like 5mm you can always shave it off the base of the bearing cap!...works well.

the wheels stress under cornering. u might want a little more clearance.

yea.... is it safe to stack spacers, if i stacked a 15mm and a 3mm is that safe? im starting to think these wheels are not going to fit.
with a 3mm spacer on top would make a 23mm offset thats very low for a c-class

it is NOT safe to stack spacers. the amount of stress from centrifigul force with the load on the stretched lug bolts would surely fail.
ever see the youtube video of the JDM car that lost all 4 wheels drifting? like that.. lol
