Omey, heres some numbers you wanted. your inbox is full.

Reset @ steady 70mph = 22.5-23 MPG for a 5 miles strech.

Dead stop, up to 45mph for 2 miles = 16-17MPG.

around town its all stop n go so it will average 14.5 if lucky usually like 12's.

Cant wait to get your pulley soon. :)

on my car i should be at least 30-40% larger gain though theoretically. I'll be expecting at least 15hp 20 ft lbs or i'll honestly be disappointed.

can you post the details of install- i will be doing it myself. doubt the dealer will touch my car.

I do like to see how the pulley affects that engine tho! :bunny:

my car makes over 320 whp on dyno dynamics now- I'm going to expect commensurate gains % wise (so bigger gains than the E55). keep in mind the car i'm putting it on...

i'll be happy with a difference i can feel

It can only help with the parasitic loss of the supercharger. I wonder if this could be combined with something like an evosport underdrive kit to further free up some loss. If we could grab 20hp or so with simple pulley swaps thats pretty cool. :D

does the evosport stuff underdrive anything?

I'm close to needing to upgrade my alternator as i sit now and or having to run multiple "audio" batteries (obviously not something i want to do on a "fast" car)

let's keep talking about this until i can pick it up-

for now i just ordered the intercooler core i'm going to use for my air to water set-up. I already have the cobra mustang heat exchanger i intend to use. My next step is to get that stuff fabricated in etc.

I think i will do all the piping/bends with silicone and stainless couplers. thoughts on using silicone vs. aluminum or steel pipe?

once that system is up and running properly this will be my next modification! at that point (assuming the a2w works as intended) i will have basically maximized the car for power/safety for the stock HPS boost levels. If the a2w doesn't work to get my temperatures as low as i want for safety etc. i will probably have to consider meth prior to picking this up though. Expect me to do all that in the next 8-10 weeks.

The alternator, power steering, and water pump.

edit: OT, Thank you for the dynos.

that's what i figured- i will not be going that route under any circumstances.

I think they sold a second kit that didn't underdrive the alt. for audio people.

How much does this pulley upgrade cost? Is there any harmonic problems with the aluminum pulley?

Just wondering how easy or difficult this install would be? Would a semi-experienced mechanic be able to perform this installation with instructions? Keep up the good work, and keep us posted. Thanks

yeah, its only the crank pulley. like 1 hr job, gotta remove the belts, fan shroud on most cars, fan, sometimes the coolant hoses to make room.

what about the headers? your site has headers for the v8 motors posted as in progress. will these headers fit on a c43 v8 motor? if so what kind of gains should a v8 owner expect from these headers?

omeyhomey, is that C36 on autotrader your car for sale? Just wondering if this would affect the pulley project.
I hope not, as I am looking forward to getting it.
