Hi, I wanted to know the "w/s" button is made for, It's located beside the Parking gear... what is it for? over drive or something ?

W=winter mode which starts out in 2nd gear.
S=summer (or standard whichever you prefer) - starts in 1st gear

Not true if you have the adaptive tranny programs.

When my car is not in heavy use, it def'n changes gear before red. When I drive aggressive for awhile, the gears hold off till almost red.
