Rear Door Speakers

Did a search but couldnt find true answer.

On the facelift 202 is the rear door panel needed to be removed, to get out the speaker? There is 4 screws holding the bracket it, and doesnt look like the one on the top buried up there I can take out without removing the whole damn panel.

No need to remove the entire door panel. Just take out the bottom screw and rock the speaker cover off. It is ridiculously easy.

No...lol im not talking about the speaker COVER.

Referring to removal of the actual speaker and its assembly.

the rear speaker on my 94 has 4 screws and then it comes out.

For that one screw that is just behind the door panel I made a small hole so that I could get my screwdriver through it. I didn't want to take the entire panel off but thats just me. I'll see if i can get a pic of it up.

Yes Fizzle, this is the screw im refferring to. I dont need to tackle this until this week when the new speaker arrives but a pic and procedure of how you did it would be awesome.:)
