I'm not trying to be a d**k or nothing but i didn't say anything about moding another car... I said c280 thats the car I have and thats the car I want to mod. If I want another car ill buy a c32 why would I buy another w202 the reason im trying to mod my c280 is because i dont want payment's....

dude a supercharger alone is going to cost your 3,000 not including fabrications, and time. Plus your going to have do reprogram the computer, and change fuel pump and injectors and ......but.....yet again as i told people before the transmissions in these cars won't hold up 100+ for long.....if you had a man trans...you might be able to get it built.......but like i said sell you car get a c43......your looking at 10,000 for a good used 1......and thats 300 hp built to handle 300 hp on a daily basis. just a 80shot of nitrous......and thats power on demand

If you must add forceded induction and there is a forced induction kit availible for the 280,save and buy the kit ;) ...reason being its extremely likley any custom setup will exceed the price of any kit availible even if the kit seems expensive!...that is assuming your best friend isnt an engineer/fabricator/engine tuner/not married with no kids...otherwise it wouldnt be so pricey now would it=) ....logan

You would possibly need...Custom Dual crank pully,belts,custom mounting gear,tensioner mounting,custom intake,custom charge piping,ECU tuning + a whole heap of small stuff which blind sides you and makes the project cost more than its worth.

actually i would love to sink my hands on a w203 c350 sport just because it comes in manual and its the biggest engine Mercedes ever put with a manual. yes i know 203's are some what unreliable, but its a trade off/ or a R171 slk same reason

I was going to by a c32 amg but would be tight on money like for clothes and stuff and going out wise i like having the c280 because it's paid off u know ? car payments suck =[ I'm trying to do the best with what i have u know?

yea being completely honest it gona cost you alot more that that!
you will need to track down a supercharger off ebay that is designed for the same size engine get one of those centrafugal type ones (the compressor half of a normal turbo), dont get one off the 2.3 and spin it faster as it will result in to much heat in the charge,
u need to mount a front mount in my oppinion or go with a water to air cooler like expo, or water/meth injection cos you needa get your intake temps down to stop detonation specially if u plan on running your standard computer and not going stand alone(as i presume you will to keep costs down)

you will need
supercharger and custom belt setup ($2k at a guess)
larger injectors ($100)
piggyback ecu of some discription/ maby even an extra injector controller ($500-1000)
front mount and piping or some sort of charge cooling ($500)
blow off valve if ur a wanker like me :-) ($100)
and all the labour - no idea on price.
and dyno tuning ($500)
adjustable fuel pressure regulator ($100)
and some guages ($200)
random expenses ($500)

those are estimates based on ebay sorta prices and sorta similar to what i payed for my build (but i did a turbo on a m104 280), go into a shop and u could probebly nearly double those prices

that's wild you turbo'ed a m104 motor. i love those inline 6 cyl motors they sound so good i bet it makes awesome hp with the turbo
