Regarding Bodykit Paint Colors

Hey,

Quick question.
How do bodyshops get the appropriate paint color to match my body? Im assuming these colors are custom to Mercedes?
I have a 702 Smoke Silver.

Is that color universal? Or do they have to get the paint from a mercedes dealer?

it's universal. the code tells them what tint / paint / blend needs to be mixed to perfectly match what's on your car.
