Hey Guys! This is my first thread so excus the amateurism.
Anyway I purchased aftermarket parking sensors http://cgi.ebay.ie/8-PARKING-SENSORS-LED-DISPLAY-BUZZER-ALARM-PDC_W0QQitemZ250254552688QQihZ015QQcategoryZ75330Q QssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
I got an extra two sensors so I could have 6 in the front bumper to look like original equipment. They were originally black but i spent time and sprayed then brilliant silver (744 colour code) along with clearcoat. The installation was pretty simple but takes some time. However im having some issues with the electrical work. Instead of connecting directly to the battery does anyone know how/where to connect to the ignition so that the little led display for the parking sensors only come on when i start the car.

Also im planning hooking up the original parktronic switch for the centre consol so i can choose to switch off the front sensors. Has anyone got ideas for this?
I will also be putting up pictures soon.

I am sure one of the stereo guys here will be able to help you out.

Please do post pics and notes on the installation after you get it done. That would be interesting to see!

ground wires in our cars are brown (or you can just ground to the chassis) and ignition is solid yellow, if u can manage running the wires up behind the head unit i think that would be the easiest way to tap into the wires you need, all wires are also accessible under the passenger side front door sill, but they're all bundled up in there and its a bitch to find which wire you need
