i didn't book mark them,
but i remember going through replacement part sites and some of them carried the facelifted tails. however, their realllly pricey.

try going through second handed through various forums or the wreckers.

Those look like the tail lights of a Toyota Camry.

if i were forced to pick, i'd go with the first set you posted.

however, the '98-'00 oem smoked tails are tough to beat on the W202.

Go to places like German, Swedish and French or Eurocarparts as they might do it cheaper than sellers off ebay. Try the stealers themselves for these parts also, you'd be surprised at the price.

I put a set of these on my silver 97 W202 and they really stand out. Not Camry like at all and every 202 owner i've seen has asked me where they can get a set from. I got mine from Germany via e-bay and they are so much brighterand the LED's look stunning at night. I didn't want the smoked middle's coz they looked a little too MB OEM'ish for my liking.
