Another ac issue

I have a 94 c220 with 200k it has been in the family since new. The stage 2 fan runs at high speed all the time. The code is #30 the second fan never comes on. The wire harness does not look to good. The comp. runs for 7-10 seconds and then stops. The system is full of freon. I checked the ac temp. sensor and it ohms fine. I think the fan running is the reason the ac comp from running. The ecm must think the car is over heating it must have a short in the harness. The OBD test shows coolant as normal temp. Do you think it is a bad engine harness? Has any one purchased one? If so how much? If so, please help the outside temp. is over 90F. I am melting!

the easiest way to check the engine harness is to look at the injector wires. the insulation will be peeling off of them. the fan is not part of the engine harness tho. i would suspect something wrong with the fans or the controller (can't remember if that car has the separate controller)

I got the AC to work. I had to reset the AC control and the ECM by unplugging the ECM temp sensor. Then ran the car and the temp sensor read -40C. Shut the car off reconnected the sensor rest the ECM via the OBD II port and the AC is Ice Cold!!!
