Anyone would Reset Transmission on their w202 ?

They are saying I should notice a difference in the shift pattern and smoothness after doing the reset trans.

What do you think ?

I really dont know how true that is, or if it is even able to be done. never heard of resetting the transmission that way before.
the transmission adaptation data can be reset in the 722.6 electronic transmissions.. but that has to be done using a star diagnosis.
and it wont cure harsh shifts.. it just erases the transmission shift data, so that it can again relearn shift patterns based on your driving.
it will adapt to your driving, so if you always pound on the gas and let it shifts at high rpm's.. when you drive normally or more slow it will have seriously harsh shifts! so its best to adapt a transmission with regular easy driving, for nice smooth shifts.

All it does is reset some throttle sensor...so I've been told by my tech.
