new door sills

i got these new dtm special edition front door sills, i found them while i was perusing the mb parts catalog, i already had the dtm sport badges thanks to brandon (OCklasse) so i kinda knew what to expect, had my dad order a set and luckily some were still available, but apparently quite hard to track down (i've been in europe for the past few weeks so i wasn't here to partake in the hunt) any way here they are

quick question... maybe a stupid one.

with the door sills there is a black part and the silver part

when u bought these did they fit in on the top of the originals or are they a complete replacement ?

they might start to scratch a little over time. i installed similar that are illuminated and the double stick tape only holds for so long. if those lit up would be sick.

Thanks guys, i think they will scratch a little, i had the ones that say mercedes benz on them that came w/my special edition package and they were a little scratched, but they have endured 8 years of abuse, my factory ones were double sided taped on as well so hopefully this tape is of equal quality *crosses fingers*

looks like its 66020600 but that looks a little funky for an MB part number. Heres a link to the EPC thing i used to find it, theres a list of all the side badges available
