i just got my K&N oil filter for my car today. i am actually impressed with the design. i usually buy OEM filters but i wanted to try this one and it looks identical to the OEM filter and it is made in germany also (stamped on the top). the one quality i like for the 104 filter is the inside is re-inforced more than the OEM so the pleats don't break down (turn brittle) and fold during long service intervals.

104 engine = part # HP-7008 (only $10.36)

before i did my custom CAI i did a k&n replacement and really didn't feel any improvements but i knew it was breathing better then the stock paper filter. the only thing i have read in the forums when using a oil filter is to make sure you clean the MAS twice a year like OMEY said. CRC makes a MAS cleaner and i m about to clean mine here pretty quick . i assume you spray the MAS but not sure if i m suppose to spray the sensor . just waiting on OMEY to reply to the topic so i know how. i m also using a K&N filter on my CAI

LOL.....hey you saw the word K&N and in this forum it is used a million times for air filters, so it's understandable, no big deal.
