There was an article in the paper about how most states have a check where they put the plate so it is viewed in a mirror to catch tricks like this. If you get a typical state license bureaucrat (or prisioner!) though, hopefully he will not be able to figure it out ;)

I remember seeing a plate on the web and it was something like this:

XKXXKXK

But on the plate, it was easily confusing.

That XKXXKXK is a really good plate..The letters are confusing to read if anyone tries to remember it.
I have a plate where it reads all numbers except I replaced the number "0" with the letter "O". These dumb meter maids can't read it and they always write the ticket as a number and not the letter...so I never get the ticket sent to my home.

With the added heat from the turbo oil and water jacket the current system doesnt hold up to well...i mean its all good if your in the south island and coming across another car on the same piece of road is a historical event:p:p:p....

Last summer on a mild cloudy saturday i came to an unexpected standstill at mangarei bridge(yes yes the merc was running^^),somone had decided to carry 10 ton on a 6m trailer behind there townace van:rolleyes:

while the crash was completely acceptable....barely being able to keep temps in check while crankn my heater full tit for 45 mins with all windows down and it starting to rain was a flag to make some changes to the system=)

Slapping an oil cooler on the m111 is a pita too, especially if you want to retain the stock oil filter housing!

that surprises me! i dont live in the south island, palmie ant that far away :-) but it is still exciting to see another car considering i live out in the country :)
do u have the standard 2 electric fans on the front and the mechanical fan still?
another thing is theres a random piece of plastic shroud in front of the radiator at the bottom i took of my car, open it up a bit.

but fair enuf, cant go wrong with extra cooling

doh....So sure you were south island =P

Yeh i still run the two electric fans(which apparently dont come in till 120,and run only with the aircon is on).Still run the viscous,i did think about installing another temp sender to bring the electric fans in earlier...that would help for sure..need to investigate the little black box inside the passenger side gaurd that controls these fans...apparently a two stage thingy.

As for that little plastic bit,i did have somthing similar infront of my oe ic which looked to have caused restriction!.IC covers about 1/3 of the radiator now to which doesnt help.

Hopefully the oil cooler i get will fit nicely infront of the electric fans but still behind that plastic bit ...other options were down low infront of the engine or even paralell with chassis rails adjacent the air pickups in the bumper...however it would be nice to keep it away from stones.
