Running on staggered monoblock II's, 8 and 9 respectively.

Would I run into any problems using 265/35/18 on the rears ? Like, would it cause possible rubbing, would I inherit major speedo error , ABS lights to illuminate etc etc ????.
Am planning to stick with the usual 225/40/18 up front.

I am looking particularly at these Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Positions as my next choice of tires.....TIA

Or has anybody used 225/40/18 all around with the rears being an 9 inch rim and basically having a stretched look. Would that look awful on our cars? I know the VWs peeps to do it alot

O'k.. i used 225/40/18 for the front and 255/35/18 for the rear.
I don't have any problem nor rubbing at all.
I don't see 265/35/18 for the rear would be problem unless your rims got different offset.

offset of the rear wheel is ET35. 265 should clear right?

or what about 225 ( the putok look) I am just afraid wheels will be easily nic and scratched

265 should be o'k. 225 no problem for the front. To play it safe why don't you just use 225x40x18 for the front and 255x35x18 for the rear.

The reason 265/35/18 came up as the option is because I have
a new set of 225/40/18 Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Positions which I was planning to use on my M3, but due to some unforseen events that arose, I distressingly had to part with. The
RE960's do not come in 255 (well if it does tirerack does not carry nor show it), so I was thinking of going the 265 route, hence my clarification question.

Nitrobalance's car runs on 265 plus its 9.5 wide, just do not know the offset .

Back from the dead...i just dont wanna start another noob tire size thread..anyone know if this tire set up was on a lowered car?? I think iam going to go this route if it is ok for lowered cars ..plus I dont want spacers should this still clear out everything ok? An what car should I order lug studs/nuts from. Iam going with the twisty SLR knockoffs I think....thoughts?

I have that size on the front. No issues. I don't remember the offsets though.
