climate control

i want to get the climate control out. u guys say use radio keys, well i tried and i dont see how the keys work can somebody enlighten me??

stick them in on both sides. if im remembering correctly the teeth should be on the inside. then you just pull it out

As I remember that way doesn't apply to your year. It was for the 96 up where it is the same size as a radio. Not sure about your year.
