Thanks to Jstrat85...
I bought his W202 SuperSprint Header.
I will be getting the collector modified to 2.5" to match the rest of my exhaust, then comes the install!
Hopefully it will be installed soon.

LOL.. I hope soon, trust me!
I know.. no one knows what the SS header is like on a Kompressor.. Ill be the first?
as for dyno.. Im going to try and get a dyno with the mods on my car now.. and then a dyno with the header. A buddy of mine knows the owner of a shop with a dyno, so I may be able to get a couple cheap runs.

now that you mention it, I probably should wrap it.. I know it will at the least lower under hood temps.. keep the eat in the pipes.. I still dont get how it can increase power by wrapping the pipes though.

lol.. i love my KW suspension!!! I play for keeps!

my understanding is that you shouldnt wrap it unless you wish to reduce under hood temps,
as far as performance mods i dont think wraping will increase power, apart from any gain you get from cooler i.a.t dependant on where your intake is.

Video clips of before and after dynos would be sick.

My supercharger is right near where my header will sit.. so I think it may be a good idea to wrap it.. but Im not sure. heat really kills my boost.. I just dont want any extra lag from the heat coming off the header.

Im hoping to drop off my header to have the collector modified, then hit the dyno this friday night actually.. I will try and get some vid of it on the dyno.

Iv heard wrapping exhaust manifolds can cause premature fatigue in some cases due to to much heat/expansion...but i think that would apply more to turbo headers??.the first header we made turned all purple/blue colours(much much more blue than the SS header you have)
The Spoon manifold on my old TegR has been wrapped since new for over 5 years now,i see it at car shows with the same wrapping i put on...
maybe do alittle research on the concept before you install the header,it may be a pain to do afterwards =P

Either way you will be removing the OE heat shield,so temps will def be higher in that area,if you dont wrap the header,at least wrap or sheild the intake to the SC!

Awsome to hear about th dyno, cant wait =)

Can't wait to see your car completed.. I miss having something to tinker with. I need to get some wheels to play with in NYC..

Im going to have to get some feedback from people about this.. I think wrapping the header may help in heat retension and not having my supercharger or intake absorb too much heat. Ill have to check into it.
as for the Dyno tonight.. its a no go.. I have an "appointment" on tuesday to run my car.. so well see how it goes then!
and as for the Header collector. I got it modified today.. Pics:

I ordered a new exhaust manifold gasket, new studs and new nuts.. so after the Dyno run.. this will be going into my car, and of course the after dyno to follow!

Dont be alarmed!! I havent installed the Header yet.
Im really hoping soon. I know I keep saying this. but Im waiting for a ss band clamp to connect the header to the rest of my exhaust. I have to call to see if its in.
but in the mean time.. I did do this...
