Would W124 Coupe rear seats fit a 202?

Anyone...

If you own a 124 coupe and a 202 sedan wanna pop off the seats to see if it fits. I'll figure out the middle section but wanted to see if they remotely fit in place.

What would be cool is they just fit.

...you could "Monster Garage" (make it fit) with the right amount of determination- complete with a/c ducts!

:)

Seriously- I'd imagine though that the back seats of the W124 coupe (same as the Sportline W124 Sedans) are too large for the back of a 202- - but that may be in the eye of the beholder - I know that the W124 coupe seats and Sportline seats are very very rare on the Cali boneyard market.

In any case, for safety- I'd be extra cautious about the "Monster Garage" approach to this mod, since crash/accident safety/ protection is of primo importance...I for sure wouldn't like the rear seats to come loose in an accident- - let alone the rear seating holding a passenger or two;)

Perhaps welding new mounts to fit the incoming securing structure may be in order?-- from memory doesn't Steve have a W124 Cab and a 202?

hope this helps

I dont plan on changing the seatbelts just the seats which are not held on to the car by much. Unless you count 2 10-13mm bolts on either end much and the bottom cushion held on by spring clips.

It is my quest to see if something like this can fit as I have seen a W220 with the tightest rear seats plus the massage function is some cool shit as well!!!! But i dont think the 124 coupe had this for the rear but none the less......
