belt tensioner, which one?

on my 97 c280 im unsure of which tensioners to buy, are there two differant inline 6 motors, which mine is an inline 6, or are all inline 6 motors the sames? my whole motor number is 104941 12 098654 if i order the 94-97 tensioner, or water pump, am i ok, also are the frond engine covers the same as well since i need to stop an oil leak!!!, I want to do this all at once!!!TIA

This is the one i got for my 1994 C280 I6. It works perfectly, i'm pretty sure you would use the same one if you have the M104 I6

Your engine serial code shows the newer style tensioner...
